good movie...

So we had "family night" last night, where we pick a movie, eat popcorn or ice cream and we all watch a movie together. Well last night's choice was Eight Below...OMG....It made me cry, it made Krackel cry and even mr. Goodbar! It was a great movie....altho if you don't want to cry, don't watch it =-)

CHOCOLATE FACT: Rumor has it that Napoleon carried chocolate with him on all his military campaigns for a quick energy snack.

WOW....

And so we were driving to look at some house's the other day when Krackel pops up from the back...
Let me set the scene.....were driving through the hills of lake in the hills just looking at some houses for sale....when I told Krackel that her girlfriend from kindergarten is going to be coming for a play date on friday. She was SO EXCITED!!! She started making a list in the back seat of all the stuff that ALL of us have to clean......

"Rolo you have to clean up your toys"

"Kit-Kat well she's not going to be here, so she get's off the hook this time"

"Mr. Goodbar, you and mom have to clean up all the SHHHHHH S H I T on your bedroom floor....."

and yes my friends, she spelled out the word, thinking that if she spelled it, it wouldn't be as bad as if she said it.
I guess there will be no spelling words in front of her anymore.....remember the days when you didn't want the kids to know something, so you just spelled it...then they grow up and learn how to read and spell, and then you can't keep anything from them.......humph!

CHOCOLATE FACT: The largest box of chocolates ever made was a Frango mint chocolates box weighing 3,226 lbs. created by Marshall Field's, Chicago, Illinois, USA on November 14, 2002. The box contained 90,090 individual chocolates.

Been doing really good at my second job. It's kinda nice cause when I come home i'm tired. I don't have to wait till I get tired, i'm already tired when I get home hehehe.....

Well summer is almost here. We have been playing outside recently. I bought a new slip and slide....wow how the kids love it, altho Rolo walks down it like she's walking down the cat walk. Its really cute!
Krackel is doing really really good with Punkin. They do there math together, and reading, and drawing, and they play SO good together....I'm so happy that she and Punkin have eachother to get along with. Sometimes playing with littles get's boring, so they have eachother.....it's great.

I hope everyon ehas a great day!

CHOCOLATE FACT: The word "chocolate" comes from the Aztec word "xocolatl", which means "bitter water".
