I got a call from the Animal Control and they said that they gave it to a
woman (who does rehabilitation for birds) and she says that it will take a
little time, but the goose is going to be JUST FINE!!!!!!!
All the kids here are jumping for joy cause we saved the gooses life!!!!
YIPPPPPPPYYYY

now they are convinced its "our" goose....BUT "our" goose that lives in the
wild and we can't touch but can only look at from the window.....Oh and they
want to name the goose "scoobydoo"

Bad Luck

So last night Mr. Goodbar was sleeping on the couch (he fell asleep watching tv) and at about dawn he heard something strange, but didn't think anything of it. So this morning I was going out to feed the birds and something hissed at me...scared the living daylights outta me. But I looked down, and it was a goose, apparently hurt. It was just laying there, still alive but hurt. So I called Animal control and there sending someone out here to get it and HOPEFULLY save it, but somehow i don't think that's what they do. But the goose is still out there, and still alive. I had to tell Krackel that they would probably put it in a zoo cause it probably won't be able to fly. There's no way I would tell her anything else!!!
Well I hope all of you have a great day!!!

CHOCOLATE FACT: The botanical name of the chocolate plant is Theobramba cacao, which means “Food of the Gods.”

make the sun come out

I AM SO READY FOR SPRING!!!! The kids all have cabin fever, I have MAJOR cabin fever....Everytime i think "today we may get to go outside" either one of the kids is sick OR that darn sun goes away and it gets CHILLY....the kind of chilly that just goes right through you, and if you stay out long enough your hands turn into little ice cubes. Yeah not a good thing with 5 kids!! Nothing new is happening...OH YEAH...my heater finally bit the dust...i figured since this weather is keeping up i must get someone to come look at it. OUr second car is almost biting the dust, so Mr. Goodbar thinks he want's to purchase a scooter (its kinda kool) to get to and from work so i can have our goobermobile....like I go anywhere during the day. But it is nice to have "in case of ermergency" know what im saying....anyhow, hope everyone has had or will have a good day!!!

CHOCOLATE FACT:“Giri Choco” is a japanese custom which means “duty chocolate.” It calls for employees to give chocolates to their managers as a token of loyalty.

It may not be true, but do I dare take the chance?

My first weekend post

Its sunday and I finally got the kids to bed. Mr. Goodbar had to lay down with little Rolo to get her to sleep, so he will be asleep in no time too. Krackel is watching TV upstairs while trying to fall asleep. So i'm down here taking time for myself.
Didn't do much today cept go to the store to get juice...I can't believe its March and it's sn owing....The wildlife outside are very confused. i can hear the geese honking prolly wondering why mother nature can't make up it's mind. I'm sure it will be like 70 for easter (I can wish can't I)
So we were getting ready to do our errands and go eat Mexican food, when Mr. Goodbar was straping in little Rolo in her car seat, I looked out and saw two GIANT birds swarming down. It caught something in the air, and went down in the grass (well there would be if it wasn't covered with this damn white stuff) and was EATING it.....It was two red tailed hawks, right in front of my house....Being from California, i get excited about these things!!! I get excited when I see deer...cause the only birds and deer we saw was at the San Diego zoo.....
Well I hope all had a GREAT weekend!!!

CHOCOLATE FACT: The shelf life of chocolate is generally a year. Ingredients such as nuts will shorten the shelf life. Chocolate kept beyond 1 year may suffer flavor loss or texture changes.
